Julie and I both voted the same, opting for the 'Van Dyke'. Interestingly, we also both thought that you looked too young with the 'Clean look'. And that the 'Horseshoe' makes you look like a porn star. Not that we'd be in any way judgmental if that was the look you were aiming for. ;)

Hey.. I would say go with the clean look. Not as hard to get cake and frosting out of. Also if she promises not to do that don't believe her.. You though peer pressure was tough in high school.. wait for it at a wedding cake cutting.. LOL

Hilarious. I'm glad this classified under 'funny'. So although this seems like the most important day of your life and you will get more professional photos taken on this day than any other, I vote for 'it doesn't matter' (unless Karin is planning on smashing cake in your face at the reception). In twenty years you will laugh at your style no matter what hair you sport. You will enjoy your wedding no matter what you look like. And, so will we:) That said, since chinstrap is not an option, I go with 'Van Dyke'. And, you look about 12 in 'Clean look'.

There is little doubt how wonderful she was. Daphne accomplished what most people can only hope for: Leave the world a better place than when you entered. Those of us fortunate enough to have been a part of her life certainly are better people for having known her.

1) If he knows what's good for him, yes.
2) I have no idea.
3) No raise, but I like where your mind is at.

First: Effin awesome! I think she did a reasonable job of representing the company without betraying the state's economic woes. Bully!
Now, for the questions.
1) Was the host drunk?
2) How was your boss/Cybernet chosen as a guest?
3) Do you get a raise? (I know it's not related, but wishful thinking.)
The subject matter is a little over my head, but even more than that, it's depressing. So much bad news, and it's always someone else's fault. When are people going to realize the government doesn't control the economy? Out of one side of their mouths, they're blaming Obama for the economy -- which is at least 10-years in the making -- and out of the other side, they're cursing him for spending too much money trying to fix it. Oh, and then there's the "why doesn't the government just get out of our lives?" argument from the same people. Maddening.
Sorry about the tangent. Good show, Cybernet!

Your points each are valid, and I wish more people realized how easy and vital seatbelts are to use.
OH! And solid points about median cable barrier. Even if you didn't mean cable specifically, I get paid to promote them. THEY ARE SAVING LIVES! Of course, people still will think they're a huge waste of money. For more info, go to www.michigan.gov/cableguardrail.

Keep your eyes and attention on the road and what's going on around you. About a year ago, a bicyclist was killed when a van swerved into him. Turns out that the driver of the van briefly took his eyes off the road to change the channel on his radio.
Briefly look both ways when driving through an intersection, even though you have the right of way. Most people don't survive getting t-boned by a car speeding through a red light.
Don't tailgate!
Watch out for the driver who isn't paying attention. A driver instinctively overcorrects after swerving off the road, and you may just be right next to him (or her) when it happens.
Support the state installing barriers in the median on major roadways. There was at least one fatality on US-23 when a car on US-23S crossed the median and hit a car on US-23N. The driver of the car on US-23N died.

I've seen this before, and it is totally sick. My question is if he can really place the ball that well, why isn't he playing for Inter Milan or something? He could at least take all the free kicks and such. Then I start wondering if it is fake. Then I wonder how many times they tried all of these before they got the successful shot.
No matter what, it sure is fun to watch.

I am totally and utterly astounded at what these so called leaders are doing. Every day, its something else. They are supposed to represent us but as far as I am concerned, they don't care about anything but themselves. Many I talk to say they are voting the incumbent out in the next election. I wish I had an answer as do many people. As some very smart person said, "...makes my life more concentric. I care about family, my friends and myself." Amen.

Testify! The real question is, as constituents, how can we hold those in power liable for their hypocrisy? Those in government at both the state and federal level seem fine with simply legislating as they see fit, without regard for the opinions of those they represent. I myself have tired of writing letters that seem to simply fall on deaf ears... or is it eyes? Anyway, yeah - enough is enough.

Regarding the Supreme Court decision, I don't think American voters will pay much attention to where political ads and endorsements come from, if they don't already. If they DO already pay attention, then it doesn't really matter that we're throwing more corporate ads into the mix because those voters who do base their votes on ads and endorsements are too stupid to make their own decisions anyway.
A "vindication of the First Amendment’s most basic free speech principle — that the government has no business regulating political speech"? Hardly.
"Allowing corporate money to flood the political marketplace would corrupt democracy." Yeah, because our system hasn't already been corrupted... Whatever.

Some of my biggest pet peaves with the Religious Right are moral arguments made political. I feel like a broken record, but WE CANNOT LEGISLATE MORALITY. Abortion and gay marriage are two of my favorites. You can't take away people's right to choose for themselves if it has no impact on your civil rights. To quote Tom Lockwood, one of my favorite high school teachers: "You're right to swing ends where my nose begins."
I found this Web site a while ago: http://www.elroy.net/ehr/fighttheright.html
Take a look and pay particular attention to the abortion and homosexuality sections. Good stuff.

Amen! I mean... Hallelujah! Ok, that doesn't work either. I completely agree, %100.
I ask this... what would Jesus do? Do you think he would wear a shirt that makes a backhanded reference to a hope that the President dies? I doubt it. Would he fall in lock-step with whatever the latest talking head from Fox News is spewing, or go crazy over the liberal counterpoint at MSNBC? Again, I doubt it. Jesus taught "Empathy, cooperation, compassion, valuing human life". Love people, love. If you call yourself a Christian and also a Republican, and assume the two are associated... check yourself.
Also, on a nearly related note, EVOLUTION IS REAL. Please people - by not accepting this fact to be true you are making the rest of the world think we (Americans) aren't only asshats but also idiots. Come on gang, let's get it together!

As for the bears, I think the goalie in the first video would say, "why am I not in a river somewhere eating salmon?" Just watching him makes me sad. It may entertain the simple minded, but that's not what bears are supposed to do.

I'll agree with being frustrated with Washington Dem's lack of movement and accomplishment, but I think there's a positive side to their slow approach. Bush's GOP just rammed things through without discussion or compromise because they could. They had the majority. I see Obama's Dems being more diplomatic in their approach to policy, encouraging independent thinking and debate, even within their own party, before legislation is taken up by Congress.
That's the positive.
The negative is the same detraction that has existed in Washington since the early 20th century, and that's the insidious and rampant corruption that seems to follow election and authority. Absolute power, and all. That hasn't changed and likely won't without some kind of revolution -- hopefully nonviolent -- by the electorate.
With all that said, I don't think the government should be responsible for educating people. It's sad that it's apparently unrealistic to expect people on Medicaid and Medicare to know THOSE ARE GOVERNMENT RUN PROGRAMS.
Common sense -- like morality -- can't be legislated. We need to take responsibility AS CITIZENS for all manner of our welfare. We can't rely on government. That reliance, in no uncertain terms, as become our national weakness.
