Buckle up
I'm in transportation, so I get links to stuff like this on a pretty regular basis. This particular video I thought was worth sharing.
From what I'm told, this is the new "wear your seatbelt" ad the UK is running. It was started by some guy not hired to do it, but because the cause is important to him. He came up with this idea, and now it's being hailed across the world as a "beautiful" commercial. And now the video has become so popular with the general public that people are forwarding it to friends and family of their own so quickly that it has spread all over the world in a very short time.

First, why do people not wear seatbelts? At this point it just seems like second nature to wear one, and not doing so is just begging for the Darwinian theory of natural selection to take be demonstrated.
Second, the Fuj will probably cry when she sees this - she cries at everything.

Keep your eyes and attention on the road and what's going on around you. About a year ago, a bicyclist was killed when a van swerved into him. Turns out that the driver of the van briefly took his eyes off the road to change the channel on his radio.
Briefly look both ways when driving through an intersection, even though you have the right of way. Most people don't survive getting t-boned by a car speeding through a red light.
Don't tailgate!
Watch out for the driver who isn't paying attention. A driver instinctively overcorrects after swerving off the road, and you may just be right next to him (or her) when it happens.
Support the state installing barriers in the median on major roadways. There was at least one fatality on US-23 when a car on US-23S crossed the median and hit a car on US-23N. The driver of the car on US-23N died.

It's OK, Karin. I cried, too.
Your points each are valid, and I wish more people realized how easy and vital seatbelts are to use.
OH! And solid points about median cable barrier. Even if you didn't mean cable specifically, I get paid to promote them. THEY ARE SAVING LIVES! Of course, people still will think they're a huge waste of money. For more info, go to www.michigan.gov/cableguardrail.

Wow, way to go safety officer Fujimoto! I will do all of those things. Is it OK that I like to drive sans pants, a la "porky pigging" it? I hope so, because that could really cramp my style.
